July 25, 201510 yr Author I've installed the first of my photo' scenery and as advised, I've put UIautomationcore.dll in the main FSX folder and do not get a CTD now, even after a flight of about 1/2 hour. I've been switching views and using the menu during the flight. The help from this forum with my problems has been immense and it's very much apreciated indeed! One feature has appeared with this photo' scenery (VFR Photographic Scenery Gen'X V2 - South England & South Wales): the default airfields have cliffs where the airfield do not blend with the scenery. I remember way back, this was an original feature that was eliminated but I can't remember how it was achieved. I do have UK2000 Airfields for Southern England and wonder would that help. Perhaps I should raise a new post for this question. Raymond Smyth
July 26, 201510 yr If you move the texture resolution slider to the left, the elevation will soon disappear but it will ruin your scenery so the only option I know of is to edit the AFCAD for each airport where you see the issue and change the elevation. Check out our Photoscenery Forum and there may be an answer there or you can post your question again there. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
