Hi

 

Completed update as requested - weather radar did not update.  Logged into account, selected download link, package downloaded and opened.  installation asked to repair or remove, selected repair and ran installation.  Rebooted computer after installation complete then ran FSX.  What have I done wrong?????

Try completely removing it, then reinstalling. Worked for me

What include WX radar update? I installed the last SP and NGX seems to works perfectly.

Well, can you enable the WX? That's a good start

Solution:

 

Before installing the 737MG 800-900 SP d update undertake the following;

 

• Download from PMDG your previous "ZIP" file purchase
• Uninstall the previous version of your PMDG Aircraft
• Restart Computer
• Install new version of the PMDG 737NG 900-900
• Restart Computer
• Re download and liveries and attach with livery manager
• Restart FSX.

Yes, sure. My WX radar works perfectly. I installed the last upodate with repair function over the previous installation. No problem at all.

Some  users  the repair method  didn't  work and had  to do the full re install for the wx radar  to work

Sorry riccardo74, I didn't mean my response to be so blunt! That was meant to be a light hearted comment but now I read it, it was not that at all

Er....I thought you needed the third party ASN weather program in order to have a working WX radar in the NGX.   Am I mistaken about that?

Not sure where you got this guidance, but the computer restarts are not required. This is PMDG, not Microsoft
