October 26, 201510 yr I got everything set up today properly, Orbtx UK + ASN+ Rex and all my EZdok views set up as well. So i took the Comanche out this evening, What an incredible piece of software, i'm always is aww when i climb into the Comanche, everything about it just oozes quality, right down to the squeaky Trim Wheel. Took off in Southampton heading for Dorechester, buuuut i took a little detour and landed in EGKA Bournemouth, maybe some technical difficulties had something to do with it but that information is strictly fuel related or i mean confidential. I struggled to land it, but i had my head stuck out the window (EZdok Views) trying to line up the runway, i could nearly feel the fly's in my teeth as i belted towards the runway, Got it landed ok. Wow a real immersion buzz. Great stuff indeed .
October 27, 201510 yr Each new airplane A2A produces pushes their quality even higher, and so do the successive updates of their unique Accusim platform. I too recently bought the Comanche, and being a powerful BUT asphirated engined prop aircraft rushed trying carburetor icing conditions, like T >= -10º but a close Td... Sure I got it, and at a rate incredably realistic, I started losing my power and watching that MP dropping scarily.... Carb Heat is the way to go, don't really forget it!!!! But I am also back to their SUPERB models of the p51d, Spitfire, B377... and seriously considering the P-40E, specially because I really find weird the way it is modeled in IL-2 BoS and want to check using a good reference :-) If you ask me which do I prefer, the DCS P51d or the A2A P51d, I'll tell you that they're on pair, with their pluses and minuses compensating for each other... And all so damn smooth in FSX:SE with ORBX FTX Global, and now also my REX Soft Clouds helping with the FPS and looks that ASN paints in my skies :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
