August 1, 201510 yr I experienced no display on the Saitek Multipanel after upgrading and I found a "fix" from Microsoft that applied to Windows 8.1 -- I recall having the problem in Win 8.1 too. Anyway, after editing the Registry for all HID input devices and rebooting, my Multipanel display returned as it did in Win 8.1. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/424250-saitek-multipanel-display-not-working-with-windows-81/ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2900614
August 2, 201510 yr Author Anyway, after editing the Registry for all HID input devices and rebooting, my Multipanel display returned as it did in Win 8.1. Rick, I followed those instructions until I got to the registry edits. I id'd the device in Control Panel and drilled into the registry to the location specified. There is no setting there for EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled. I double and triple checked that I had navigated correctly into the registry. I checked all of the other devices in that USB folder and none of them had entries for EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled. So what edits did you perform there? Probably better to clean install, then. That will happen when I build a new system. August 2, 201510 yr I jumped from win 8.1 to 10 yesterday and I must say I'm very happy with it. All my addons are working fine (using FSX:SE)... Even the Leveld 767 is working fine (landing light switch struttering continues) ... The only thing I noticed is that it takes a bit more to load textures with lvld.dll loaded to your FSX (need to do more testing)... If you use 4096 textures flying around Orbx PNW with TG KSEA and a PMDG 777 texture loading takes way more time...At the moment I'm using 1024... Using the same scenario sliders to right except water using ASN and without AI traffic everything is very smooth with 24~26 FPS at the runway inside the VC. By the way... Lots of people are complaining about Win 10 windows sizes and big fonts.. That can be fixed.... Go to Display Settings and there is a slider that says 150%... Just move it to 100% and you'll be a happy camper... August 2, 201510 yr none of them had entries for EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled. So what edits did you perform there? Most but not all of the entries I saw had the EnhancedPowerManagement entries and those were the only ones I edited. I did not touch any that did not already have this entry. The Twitter post from Saitek does not specify which products they are looking at. I use SPAD or SPAD.neXt drivers for panels. Rick
August 2, 201510 yr Author SPAD.neXt drivers What is Spad.neXT? Not aware of it. August 2, 201510 yr Here: http://fsgs.com/ I'm having some panels response issues after 10-15 minutes, though, but the joystick does NOT disconnect. Still some USB issues to sort out, I guess. Edit: Loss of response may be a SPAD.neXt issue -- same flight was fine with SPAD driver.

August 2, 201510 yr I am one of those (probably the very few) that has NOT had a good experience with the upgrade. I upgraded late last night, and have spent the better part of today wondering why my FSX takes almost a half hour to open now (it was 10 minutes on Win 7 - kinda like everyone else). It takes FOREVER to click on anything in the sim, and I cannot even load the Trike without it crashing with no error message (just disappears). I have no effing clue what to do any more...I tried refreshing the fsx.cfg....tried deleting shaders...all antivirus crap is off, etc......I`m more just ranting than anything else. Why did this have to happen when everyone else is having such a great experience?????? FYI, in the Task Manager it shows that FSX is only using 11 MB of memory (#####??!). It starts out fine (uses about 48 MB initially on start up, and then TANKS to 11 MB and sometimes down to 2 MB of memory used). Argh. Regards, Patrick D. August 2, 201510 yr Author Check out this post from yesterday, with an exe file to fix similar issue in Win 8.1 http://www.fsgs.com/...c.php?f=5&t=375 The .exe operated OK in Win 10, and configured (5) items in the registry, but it made no difference. Still dark muilti panel display, all multipanel buttons and controls however continue to work. Windows 10 and FSX still not a good paring for me. The need to use DX10 preview costs me tool tips, and the dark multipanel display make it very very difficult to control for instance the VS setting in both the Carenado B55 and C340. I have lots on addons and my fsx starts in about minute and half. If my fsx took 10 mins to start I'd play another game lol
