August 20, 201510 yr Author So, since I fly from the 3D Virtual cockpit, this change will do me no good. A real weak spot in FS9 is looking around and adj. views. Thanks to all for your input. Paul
August 20, 201510 yr Since there is only one valid zoom value for a given monitor (assuming you cover the entire screen with FS) since the zoom value should be determined by the proportions of the monitor, the change to the zoom value as saved in the default Flight is all you need. August 21, 201510 yr A real weak spot in FS9 is looking aroundHave you tried TrackIR? that would suit your style I imagine. You can preset the start zoom, and lean in to see gauges if required, or look around to your heart's content.
August 23, 201510 yr As mentioned, load your default flight, change your view zoom to your liking and then save the default flight again (overwriting what you had before). This has always worked.
August 23, 201510 yr Get FSrecorder and create a VC camera for your favourite airplanes. It stores them, so will always have the same zoom level in the VC. It uses it's own view system, I use it as I used to use EzDok in FSX (yes, english can be nice sometimes lol)
