Yes the US store is VERY weird to say the least... When I first started doing business with them I got replies to questions I had before buying, etc, so thought it was normal just like any other site. But for some time communication is non-existant?.

I've bought quite a few products from the US store without any significant problems but I have also suffered from a lack of response from them. Tends to happen around public holidays. The Aussie branch is good and does check here.

I'd always recommend having an account though and maybe an alternative email address to hotmail which I'm always suspicious of.

Thanks guys.

I was unaware of different PCAviator stores around the world, but I'm now wondering if the US store even exists outside its server!

This was such a simple problem that could have been solved in a couple of minutes if a human being had intervened.

But they failed to respond to even PayPal's attempt to contact them.

The result is that they've lost money and they're probably in PayPal's bad books.

They're certainly in mine, as I don't have the airport and the 40% off sale is now over.

That's if it ever existed in the first place!

You seem to have been very unlucky. Last night I bought UTX USA v2 and benefited from the 10% Tuesday discount plus an additional 10% discount as I hadn't bought from them for a while (I had! ).

The original cost of $29.95 came down to $24.26 and I downloaded a 1.1Gb file in around 20 mins this morning.

I reckon if you created an account you would have a much easier experience.

TG, sorry you have had these problems.  I have used PCA-USA for over 7 years with no problems.  In fact I had to call them yesterday to get help on downloading a  purchase I made back in 2010, which they promptly set up a new download file for me within  minutes.  I am sure it was helpful that I had created an account on my first purchase.

If you need to call them again, perhaps you could alert them to this forum and ask them to contact me!
