Also, check out the first sentence, third paragraph.  This is the reason why journalists who don't know anything about aircraft, should not report it...pole...POLE?  Hahahaha

Yeah, landing gear is just three poles with wheels attached, simple as that, lol.

At least they didn't call it a stick that was holding the front tire.

OUCH!  BAD POLE!!!

"This is the reason why journalists who don't know anything about aircraft, should not report it..."

Reminds me of the reporter in San Diego showing how the pilot of the Cessna 172 struck by the Boeing 727 was wearing an IFR training hood.

But, she had the training hood on backwards during the live report!

Cheers,

Jim

Pole!!! Hilarious!! But seriously, journalists reporting on Aviation is always a hoot. No injuries it seems, glad the pole didn't poke through the tube.

It doesnt appear to me that english is the first language for this news outlet. So may be a translation issue. But funny none the less.  :Tounge:

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

Hilarious. Aviation 'incident' reporting by non-aviation journalists is pathetic. There are always technical inaccuracies - and I love the way everything is always sensationalised.

"...a problem while it was taxing to land properly"

Low cost indeed
