It is.. nothing has changed. You could surely tweak this or that other gfx settings to squeeze the power from a better gpu, but as soon you hit the CPU (almost ever with p3d!), you'll face the same issues.

Upgrade your GPU if you use it (also) for other apps/games... if it's only about P3D, it's a waste of money IMO (for now at least..).

 

PS: in 5 days nVidia will show the new x70/x80 cards (not Ti), so considering to purchase a new gfx card today, is wrong overall.

Nice info, thanks! I will hold for now, the PC is solely for the flight simulator (used to be FSX until recently, now P3D).
