Just flew from Munich to Dulles and want to reproduce flight with the PMDG 777.  However, I have never seen this kind of flightplan before.  Can anyone interpret this for me?

"BAGLE264024" is the distance (24NM) and radial (264) from BAGLE intersection.

Did you get the flight plan for the r/w flight from Flightaware? Unfortunately, many (if not most) of the flight plans shown on Flightaware for flights to the United States which originate in Europe, do not show the entire route.

 

The flight plan will only list the airways and waypoints for the segment of the route within U.S. Airspace, but none of the flight plan segments prior to that point. The first waypoint in the plan is a bearing/distance from BAGLE waypoint, which is probably the point where the aircraft entered U.S. Airspace from Oceanic or Canadian airspace.

 

Sometimes, if you check a European-originating flight on Flightaware (for a given day) early enough - before it actually departs - you will see the entire route, including the oceanic waypoints. But, if you track the flight after it has taken off, (or after it has landed), you will usually find that the displayed route has been trimmed to show only the segment from entry into U.S. airspace to the final destination.

If you E-mail FlightAware, they may give you a more complete flight plan for a given date. I have received some for EDDF to CYYZ. Then, for recent flights, I could use FlightRadar24 to figure out which SID was used.

Nice! I fly that route just about yearly in January. As Jim mentioned, sites like FlightAware are dependent on various information sources to feed them information. Unfortunately, one of the other things that FlightAware is prone to is plan amendments. In order to stay as up to date as possible, FA consistently pulls the latest information from the data sources. If a controller amends a flight plan, they may occasionally wipe the entire plan and replace it with present position (the BEAGLE264024 part) and the rest of the plan is all that remains in the flight plan info.

Departed JYO VFR and then picked up flight following but was down near SHD when I called. To make things easy, and not play 20 questions on the radio (to figure out where I'd actually departed), the controller entered SHD 0A9 as the route pair (since SHD was close to my present position when I called), which got picked up by FlightAware.
