[18 Oct 2019] NGX Reboot 3.4 FOR P3D V4 Released -UGCX Support!

Featured Replies

Yes, FCDU is the ACARS gauge from FSCaptain software.

Edit:
I copy from backup clean panel.cfg; then run Config Manager again and activate FS2Crew and then install FSCaptain ACARS - now it works.

One more question: does the FS2Crew FAILURES generate independently of NGX failures which are set in FCDU?

In other words: even if I have NGX failures "OFF", but in FS2Crew CFG Failures "ON" - should I expect failure?

Glad you got it working

Your panel.cfg was messed up.  I looked at it and you had an extra set of Window 21 and 22's that didn't appear to load anything.

Nope, FS2Crew does not generate failures.

With FS2Crew Failures set to "OFF", the FO will not announce any failures that he detects.

Cheers,

Thanks Bryan,

...but...strange thing. I've just made first NGX flight with new FS2C version and after shutdown FSX, Config Manager says that FS2C is inactive  (System Check also reports failed panel.cfg)

However, when I load a free flight again, everything works. That's strange...

And one more issue I observed while flight:

- on approach, when I ask FO to set flaps 15, he says "flaps 15 flaps 2" and he starts set flaps to 15 and after a few seconds back to flaps 2 (before I asked him, I have set flaps 2). He did twice the same thing, so I set flaps 15 myself. Also, when I asked him to set flaps 20 he did strange things with flaps...

Finally until touchdown I set flaps manually.

Regards,

Lucas

"I'm not sure what you've done with your panel.cfg."

..as I wrote - I paste fresh panel.cfg from backup, then install FSFX Immersion, FS2Crew and ACARS.

Confog Manager and System Check reported no errors.

After flight - in System Check there is a message "panel.cfg - FAIL", however when I load FSX and NGX, I can open Main Panel normally.

"What happened with Flaps 20?"

I don't exactly remember :( However there was big problem to properly set the flaps on approach... if I recall correctly even "Flaps 30" command was interpreted as "Flaps 30 flaps 2"

Hi Lucas,

Please email me your panel.cfg so I can test it on my system... My email is:   admin ****at ******* fs2crew.com

For flaps, try again...  Check the Voice Log to see what the system heard.

Run the voice training again.

Cheers,

Although I told everyone to wait for the official P3D V3 version

The system somehow 'heard' it.  You could have coughed, or mumbled something, and the system can interpret that as a command.

Run the Voice Training again, and be sure to keep your mic away from your speakers, and try adjusting the mic sensitivity.

Best,

You could have coughed, or mumbled something ...

There is no way...

As I mentioned, this was second time in the same situation (expand flaps)...strange. Anyway, I'll do voice training again.

Thanks.

Best,
