I'm going to speculate that you made the same mistake I did. I am using the 737 in P3Dv2.5 and wanted to keep it there for awhile until the addons for P3Dv3 had matured in their debugging process. The other day I went into the operations center and it said an update was available so I had it update. Afterwards all of my operation center functions were gone.  After reading the NGX P3Dv3 update thread it appears that if you have P3Dv3 installed on your computer along with v2.5, all the new installs will go into v3. My NGX still works fine in P3Dv2.5, but apparently the operations center thinks the NGX is in v3.

To correct it, it looks like I will need to remove P3Dv3 and do a repair/reinstall of the operations center and or NGX into P3dv2.5 and then reinstall P3Dv3. If anyone knows of a simpler way of correcting this, please let us know.

Thanks,

Theodore Striker II

Thanks for responding Theodore.  No I am still saving up for V.3 and am still running 2.5.  Thanks for your reply.

I believe what is happening is that PMDG was not going to support both sims installed at the same time, which harkens a recent thread here at PMDG support forum, which Kyle and I believe Robert R commented on to clarify.  If you want both sims on your system, that is fine but if you want a PMDG aircraft to fly, it'll resort to v3.  Instead of uninstalling your sims, just uninstall the PMDG aircraft and reinstall, so everything is kosher.  I think you may be left deciding what is more important to you...just a thought.

EDIT:  Refer to this thread, which is a pinned topic in this general forum:  http://www.avsim.com/topic/475671-01oct15-prepar3d-v2v3-compatible-installers-available/

Kyle, can you help me please?  I am running the NGX in P3D v2.5 and have no textures or documents in my Operations Centre?

Any official support requests should go through the official system. Despite my presence here on the forum, I can't get access to our ticketing system that contains all of the resources to help people while at the day job (yay webfilters!), so there's a strong likelihood that someone else will be able to get to you a lot earlier than I could.
