November 5, 201510 yr Commercial Member I run two monitors. If you want full screen you have to setup in Nvidia control panel. Set it to ''span displays with surround'' Otherwise only in windowed mode and stretch it over two monitors
November 5, 201510 yr Author But how come it worked in FSX though? I will try that tonight Vernon Howells
November 5, 201510 yr Author Mind, i'm trying to run my 2nd monitor seperately so that might not work? Vernon Howells
November 5, 201510 yr Moderator Mind, i'm trying to run my 2nd monitor seperately so that might not work? Separate video card? that might make a difference. When I had a single card, I plugged both into it and when I went SLI, I still have both monitors on the same card. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 6, 201510 yr Author Looks like i need to. Is straight forward to install a new GTX 780? Vernon Howells
November 6, 201510 yr Moderator Also in P3D be sure Extend across desktop is checked and black out is unchecked. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 6, 201510 yr Moderator same place as the Black out desktop - in the display settings. You should have one checked and one unchecked. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 6, 201510 yr Author You mean the blackout desktop one? I don't think its those options because if i go into FSX.CFG and find the 2nd monitor GTX 780 entry and remove it then restart FSX go into full screen, my screen goes out. So i tried those exact lines in P3D and it doesn't work - P3D enters there own lines. So not sure what P3D is playing at Vernon Howells
November 6, 201510 yr Moderator In the P3D DISPLAY Settings - not the P3D cfg file - there is a setting to blackout the desktop which needs to be unchecked. There is also a setting there that says extend across desktop (not sure of the wording) but it's along side of the other - that should be checked.Vic edit: go to my system - the item is auto fill main view NOT extend across desktop. Sorry! :Big Grin: RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 7, 201510 yr Author Yeh got that checked. not sure whats going on, it works fine in FSX, i can remove those lines in fsx.cfg and the screen will cut out when going into full screen mode. soon as i put the lines back in it works again. somehow P3D isn't letting those lines work Vernon Howells
November 7, 201510 yr Moderator [DISPLAY] Fullscreen=True FullScreenAutoFill=True FullScreenBackground=False you're talking about these, right? Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 7, 201510 yr Author No there the monitors entry you have one for each monitor Vernon Howells
November 7, 201510 yr Moderator That has nothing to do with your problem. That only controls the basic screen resolution. The settings posted are the ones for the fullscrfeen display issue. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
November 7, 201510 yr Author Weird because in FSX i need those line entrys without them in FSX if i go into full screen the monitor will cut out. But in P3D regardless the monitor will cut out. Vernon Howells
