I run two monitors. If you want full screen you have to setup in Nvidia control panel. Set it to ''span displays with surround'' Otherwise only in windowed mode and stretch it over two monitors

  • Have a play with your setting I run two, one above the other, all works fine, Off the top of my head, main screen is run as full screen, and others as blacked out.     Vernon is a huge "benefit"

  • Rather rude post, I should say!   If you read his post it only deals with one topic; his monitor issure.   "Focus:!

Separate video card? that might make a difference. When I had a single card, I plugged both into it and when I went SLI, I still have both monitors on the same card.

Also in P3D be sure Extend across desktop is checked and black out is unchecked.

same place as the Black out desktop - in the display settings. You should have one checked and one unchecked.

You mean the blackout desktop one?

I don't think its those options because if i go into FSX.CFG and find the 2nd monitor GTX 780 entry and remove it then restart FSX go into full screen, my screen goes out. So i tried those exact lines in P3D and it doesn't work - P3D enters there own lines. So not sure what P3D is playing at

In the P3D DISPLAY Settings - not the P3D cfg file - there is a setting to blackout the desktop which needs to be unchecked. There is also a setting there that says extend across desktop (not sure of the wording) but it's along side of the other - that should be checked.

edit: go to my system - the item is auto fill main view NOT extend across desktop. Sorry! :Big Grin:

Yeh got that checked. not sure whats going on, it works fine in FSX, i can remove those lines in fsx.cfg and the screen will cut out when going into full screen mode. soon as i put the lines back in it works again. somehow P3D isn't letting those lines work

No there the monitors entry you have one for each monitor

That has nothing to do with your problem. That only controls the basic screen resolution. The settings  posted are the ones for the fullscrfeen display issue.

Weird because in FSX i need those line entrys without them in FSX if i go into full screen the monitor will cut out. But in P3D regardless the monitor will cut out.
