I have REX Essentials and Soft Clouds, will REX 4 Direct add anything?

Featured Replies

I am also running ASN,  if that would make any difference in your answers.

I am  looking for more realistic types of cloud depiction, i.e.,  having the appearance in the sim more closely resemble what I would see if I looked out the window  (which I occasionally do, LOL).

Thanks in advance.

Nope not really.

I'm guessing that most of us who have Essentials, Soft Clouds, and Texture Direct agree with Ron, so not a lot of need for duplicate comments..

yup, just save your money and keep what you have.

I actually bought "Soft Clouds", my first Rex product ever, with the single purpose of getting nice looking and soft ( DXT5 ) clouds.

I didn't notice any major benefit in terms of FPS gain, but I did like the graphics. Works great with ASN feeding the weather, as only ASN can...
