Q400 Flight Deck Guides Videos

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

I don't know if this is the right place on the forum for this, but I'm sure the mods will move it as they see fit.

I originally started making these for my VA but would like anyone who would think they are useful to watch and enjoy. The sound is not good on them I'm afraid - I am far from being an editing wizz kid. I hope they are useful nevertheless.

The initial videos cover the major systems on the aircraft, and I will move on to procedural and FMS training later. I'll also go into videos about the basics - ILS, NDB, VOR approaches and holds etc. using a 172 or something simple too, when I have time. In the meantime it'll be Q400 vids.

I don't get to put vids up all the time so there may be some gap between each new video and sound quality not great, but I hope you enjoy them and they are of some use to any Majestic pilots out there

Here is the playlist and do feel free to ask me questions or comment!

I think these videos will be best used in this forum.  We also have a flight sim video forum too that would be appropriate.

Thanks for your contributions.

Best regards,

Thanks chaps. As the PRO version is ocming out shortly, expect to see plenty more procedural and abnormal/emergency training. There may be gaps between vids as I am busy but I will put vids up whenever I can.

Rondon9898, Those are some very nice videos. I have found them to be a nice refresher course, after I have been away from the Q400 for a while.

Great job, and thanks for sharing them here, with us.

  Cheers, Craig

Nice one Craig. I've just added the first procedural guide on takeoff and initial climb - not an editorial masterpiece but hopefully useful nonetheless. Enjoy!
