November 27, 201510 yr Hello Boys, Have you noticed that sometimes you just can not steer the front wheel after landing? I Think this starts before landing. I Notice that the 3 red lights from the Landing gear, remain in red even after the gears are down..... the manual talk about an unsafe condition, but..... i know im not above the speed for extention(Or may be there is something im not conscious of), the matter is that, everytime that happens, after landing i can not steer the front wheel and i dont have lights.... Some pictures: 1- The Unsafe 3 red lights remain ON during normal landing procedure(In the final approach). In this picture i just landed, and the green lights are activated because i was hitting the test button, but i culd not turn that off no matter what i did. 2- If i got this behavior before landing, then i have no lights after landing. Dont know if they are related: 3- But after pressing the repair button, i recover all the control back, even the steering... That is happening randomly i think... Will perform another flight and check if that continues. Thanks in advance for support, Raphael Chacón FLYSIMWARE-SM#1378797 RXP750-#1533812 RXP530-#1526291 RXP430-#1543520 FS2C #43560 #52175 #68068 #68152 #69299 #71201 #72243 #105040 SM#1325481 PMDG #60260 #73469 #144746 #194702 #196953 #230831 #236231 #251801 #266742 #336381 #397556
November 28, 201510 yr Hey, we have not been able to replicate this error. Can you remind me of your system specs and sim version? Matt Bernard20+ Years Commercial/GA A&P/PLST
November 29, 201510 yr Author Hey, I use Win7 64 bits. i5 650 3.6Ghz / 580GTX / 8GB RAM I updated to V1.7 and i just performed one flight with V1.7, everything ok until now. If i get the same error sometime i will let you know. For the while, i was not able to detect specific conditions to recreate this errors. It just has hapened a couple of times during V1.5 to V1.6, flying to Default airports. Thanks... December 2, 201510 yr 405GJ, Thanks for creating this bird! Upon landing, I am unable to access NWS, consistently. Running: Win 7 64-bit, no UAC P3D v3 Pro; very clean install Lear v1.6 Saitek yoke and panels NWS works perfectly at first, during taxi and TO. Upon touchdown, NWS is not present and cannot be activated. Any chance we can get PC Aviator to the latest version? Thanks for your work. PS: After a Lear flight, P3D generates content errors in the log. I can send you the log if you like. December 3, 201510 yr Author I would upgrade to V1.7 Remove V1.6 and try a fresh install for V1.7. Configure all your controls through FSUIPC(Latest Version) - Specifically Tailhook command to your saitek Throtle, and see what happens... December 3, 201510 yr Flysimware: Can you supply PCAviator with the latest rev of the Lear? They currently have 1.6 and are my only source for updates. Regarding the NWS loss at landing, I tried to think it through. It could just be P3D v3 specific? I wondered if the Saitek landing gear multi-panel may be a problem. I disconnected both panels last night. Upon touchdown, I can "tailhook" the steering light on, but still have no NWS steering control. Thank you! December 3, 201510 yr NWS does work in P3D V3, it is not used above 45 knots during take off or landing rollout. Gary Stewart
December 3, 201510 yr Author Hey Mark, I had those issues when first flew the Learjet. During very hard landing test, apparently the aircraft gets damage so the button wont release the steering. I bet that is "RepairsRefill" Button for... ;-) After V1.7, im able to land the aircraft succesfully after a more precise flight. Do not extend Gears above its maimun extention speed, do not land too hard. After those cautions, the V1.7 works perfectly. Hope it works for you... On landing, sink rate, spool times all seem ok, but pitch/yaw seemed overly sensitive. Although, I never flew a Lear. I Probably need more hours in it. Would love to get v1.7 but PCAviator still has 1.6. Back in the cockpit tonight for a repair and a few greased landings! Thanks for your help. December 4, 201510 yr Commercial Member V1.7 updated the steer lock system as the keyboard assignment tailhook could be clicked above 45 knots and this was not correct. The new version the steer lock is bug free.
