Why do runway lights look like they're floating in P3D/FSX

I've witnessed this way back when I use to use FSX and now its still here in P3d v3. Why do runway lights appear to be floating in mid-air as oppose to being on the ground? Can this be fixed?

It is just the normal expectation in FSX and now P3D. Probably the reason that you have so many views yet no answer. We are just used to it.

I just noticed that myself....probably no fix.

Might be fixed by Dovetail Games when they come out with their new Flight Sim next year. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for P3D or FSX to fix it.
