January 12, 201610 yr You have a good CPU, but a very weak graphics card. The 950 is NOT optimized for high-resolution gaming. With NVidia GPUs the important number is not the first one (9), but the second one (5). It only has 2GB of VRAM as well, which can't help matters. You have your settings cranked very high, with 8x MSAA and your scenery and terrain detail sliders all maxed out. I have a 4GB GTX970, and I would not dare try to run the settings that high, and the 970 (though not top-of-the-line) is a much more powerful GPU than your 950. I realize that you have other add-ons that appear to work - but they can't be running anywhere near their potential with the setup you currently have. If upgrading your GPU is not an option, you really need to scale back your sliders and MSAA settings if you want to use the NGX without having a "skeleton aircraft". As Molleh suggested, deleting your shader cache and letting it rebuild might help, but a better GPU would be the best solution to your problem. January 13, 201610 yr Author Thanks you for your suggestions, I will test them out now although I could not locate the shaders folder in the app data etc. directory. Freddie Clarke I turned down the graphics settings to the lowest possible and it made no change to the problem. Freddie Clarke Fixed! I turned off shadows (cry) and the fuselage has risen from the dead! I really appreciate all the suggestions and support, a lot more helpful than the ticketing system! Thanks, Freddie Clarke

Thanks, Freddie Clarke Glad you found a fix. The GTX-950 will work pretty well with more modern MOBA games - that was pretty much what it is optimized for - but the computational requirements of a whole-world flight simulation engine like FSX/P3D are probably pushing that GPU to the limit of what it can handle.
