Hi all.

I'm looking for a yoke to upgrade my Saitek which is shot. I don't really want another Saitek, I want something smoother and more heavyweight. My budget is probably around £300. Ultimately, I would like the Yoko yoke, but that is outside my price range at the moment. I know there are a lot of smaller companies who make high quality yokes but I am seeking knowledge of the users of AVSIM to give me some good recommendations.

Thanks for any advice/help.

Callum.

Basically, what you are looking for doesn't exist.

As far as yokes are concerned you have the CH and Saitek stuff at the bottom of the range ($100 - $200) and the Goflight, FlyPFC, Yoko etc ($700 - $1000), with basically nothing in-between.

That's a shame. Huge gap in the market then :(

Couple days ago I had seen the GoFlight yoke on sale for $449.00 but unfortunately, when I went to purchase it the sale had ended and it's back up to $549. Wrote to the company selling them and they said I'd have to wait until they go back on sale again. (Usually around holidays.)

I'm also trying to rid myself of the Saitek quality hardware. I've got two yokes that are junk, had problems with their throttle quadrants and even my Saitek trim wheel. The insides are too cheaply made and cause issues.

Was born on the Northcoast, where they coined the phrase that they still call Rock-n-Roll!
