Turning on .net 2.0 and 3.0 via .net 3.5 which is partially turned on in windows 10,

did not fix the problem  Also downloading .net 1.1 from Microsoft did not help either.

Installing the uiautomationcore.dll' in the FSX main folder did seem so far to maybe be the magic pill I have been searching for. Flew out of a number of USA and Europe airports with no stoppage of FSX. Still got the problem of not being able to see the detail block when loading a different aircraft in FSX. Only get a black screen.

Think this might be a good start to a fix and only time will tell.

Thanks for all of the help

Terry

I'm not sure if I appreciate this comment.  Isn't it trolling?  Just because you are having issues, Windows 10 is bad.  It is working for thousands of our members.  Sure, there are some issues wheneve

You do not want to have the dotnet 3.5 from the Program and Features section turned on.

Make sure "DX10 Preview" is enabled in setup for black setup screens.

Jim,

According to the instructions near the bottom of that Program and Features section, removing the blocked in square and putting the check mark in the box, (actually two separate sub boxes) is how to turn on that feature, yes?

As for the DX 10, no I do not have it turned on as the video is terrible with it on. I believe you have to buy some sort of DX 10 fixer to get it to work..  As mentioned before, the only thing as of last night that did not work correctly was if I wanted to read the specific details on a particular aircraft before selecting it to fly. Everything else seemed to work OK.

I know of no other solution.  Sorry.  Are you using one of those hacks called the ENB or SweetFX?

Best regards,

I do not know what those hacks are so must not have installed, at least on purpose.
