Hi all,

I have just released my New Zealand Autogen package for the entire country.

I looked in the gallery section of the website and only saw images from quite high up. Any chance of posting any pics closer to the ground?

Out of curiousity, is this using LINZ data or did you find a more detailed source?

Hi Tony,

The data is from LINZ and Koordinates.

I needed to ensure that as much of the photoscenery was covered by autogen, mainly for vegetation.

To achieve this I processed data from these two sources. So in terms of coverage this is complete as we get.

A bit long winded but I thought it couldn't hurt to explain a little.

Cheers

Hi Mike

The reason for the altitude is to demonstrate the density and placement of the autogen, I can't do this close to the ground.

However it doesn't mean we can't have lower altitude screenshots so I'll look into adding a few more in the gallery.

Sounds great. Looking forward to it.

Could we know the price before adding to cart?

Hi Jose,

I have just updated the purchase page to reflect this now, sorry about that, it's pretty useful info isn't it?

Could we know the price before adding to cart?

Whats the big deal adding it to your cart to view the price? It's not like you are committed to the purchase.  NZD $14.99  ( About USD $9.70 )

Wait 8GB for autogen description files? I would never have guessed it'd be that big!

I'll have to check it out... thanks for the hard work

Out of interest, did you use the Christchurch building footprints from the koordinates site?

Thanks for the compliment.

Yes, I have used both LINZ and Koordinates
data for all building footprints.

Basically all data that could be used has been used.

I have a major update I'm working on that is going to enhance what is already there.

Just thought I would respond a little clearer re the size. The reason for the file size is the density that I have used for the autogen, I am working to try and reduce the size whilst maintaining a satisfying density setting.
