September 23, 200520 yr Have that scenery too. Installed only the 'light' version of it. Didn't have a crash, but an FS lockup instead. That package, IMHO, has some unprofessional character. While some parts are really nicely done, others look terrible. Installation is, for a payware product, unacceptable. Their freeware installer is nothing but a copy tool. It cannot even locate your FS install directory let alone modify scenery.cfg. When you look in their scenery/texture directories you can even still find development tools/files leftovers there such as imagetool.exe and Thumbs.db. If I get the time and inspiration I may write a review about it.Cheers,Siggy Siggy Schwarz
September 24, 200520 yr If memory serves, Samsoft is basically a bunch of 17 year old kids with little interest in or knowledge of the ins and outs of running a successful online flightsim business. I bought some of their sceneries some years back for FS2000, and had numerous problems. Repeated emails to "support" were never responded to. ricardo
September 24, 200520 yr The only Samsoft scenery that I have currently installed is their Taiwan. Why I bought it, I don't know. It is not very detailed and the AFCAD2 was terrible.I will say that their scenery was great back in FS2000. Their Kai Tak was very good at that time. Their scenery, however has not really progressed since then.Btw, I doubt they are 17 years old. Either they started when the were 12 or they started when they were 17 - making them 22 or so now.I agree, people should write letters. But the best way to get them on the same page as the rest of the community is to stop buying their products. I'm just as guilty with my Taiwan purchase. September 24, 200520 yr The simplest and best temporary solution to Singapore is Jan Martin's Jetways and a good AFCAD to go with it.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
