Presenting era 1970 typical commuter flight between PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 4 nautical miles southwest of downtown Anchorage, Alaska and PAKN King Salmon Airport located just southeast of King Salmon in the Bristol Bay Borough of Alaska.

Being pushed back from gate by pushback tug in bitter cold morning



Starting engines in sub zero freezing weather is very tough as engines are started spewing some smoke

Airborne on climb to FL200 with background view of city of Anchorage, PAMR Merrill Field located one mile east of downtown Anchorage, and Westchester Lagoon visible next to cruise ship

Nice morning sunrise Alaska style!





Now cruising at FL200 with background view of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve offering a wilderness of seacoast, mountains, glaciers and lakes filled with trophy-sized rainbow trout

Wing view of Tuxedni Bay where you can see in middle of water Chisik Island and its Tuxedni National Park Refuge that is home to seabirds, bald eagles, and peregrine falcons.



Crossing waters of Illimna Lake that is largest lake in Alaska, second largest lake in the United States of America, and eighth largest in North America. The lake is great spot for fishing but just watch out for Iliamna Lake Monster
