Well well , as I can't use HDR on the laptop so I downloaded the new version of Reshade and enabled HDR  + FXAA in Reshade and WAT from 20-25 fps it it to 40 fps and this is not a placebo effect as I rebooted my system twice and ran many times.

 

I have all my settings to EXTREME except clouds 10% + NO HDR + Textures to HIGH. oooh nice.

 

I have NY compiled with W2Xp I am going to try the fps thing there right now.

 

OK MSI Afterburner is showing 20 fps in NY but the game counter is 12 with heavy clouds using NOAA. Going further towards the city.

 

Got to test further , but why is MSI showing a different fps counter that is strange.

Flying a well modeled heli in Xpx is ecstasy

I am go try and fly for the 1st time in my simming career of many years the x737 . that cockpit is toooooooooooo complicated for me. Let me try to start her up . Current location VABB as VAJJ does not have the runway length for this big girl.

 

Cockpit looks quite nice and all switches / buttons at least seem to be animated.

 

What I really like in Xplane is using the arrow keys you can just move around

Crap I think I did start the engine. I want to hand fly her. Just like the C90 

looks like a good x737 not that I want to fly her much.  I did start the auto bleed and duct pressure . 

I have done a very smart thing, as I could not assign airports outside the airports around the city I just took the helipad coordinates from google and made them in WED and think it's working.

 

But I think I should separate the helipads from the airports.

Oh no, the second helipad always makes the copter go down in the water because the elevation or the mesh is wrong now what do i do :( 

Can't upload to the Airport gateway it says unknown airport code which is strange

Made two helipads in South Bombay , but one is a sloped one so I can't even take off from there as the heli goes tumbling down in the water.

 

Two more helipads to be done , one is Butcher Island and the other is the Naval radar station.

 

But why does Airport Gateway complain that the airport code is unknown ? Any ideas guys ?

Well to be honest the search in google for these helipads shows as IN-0047 (the race course helipad) and the IN-0048 (Governors Estate Helipad) but that is not the only issue, even my airport which has an ICAO - VAJJ gives me a similar error.

I think I will upload these helipads and airport @.org because of that unknown airport code error.

After using certain lua scripts for the water I am enjoying flying over the oceans too but closer to the coastline. I have no idea what difference did those scripts made to the water but I like it.

My suggestion, send an email or bug report to Ben. I don't know why it won't accept it, but I guess it's something simple.

Tony, what I think is happening is LR does not have these airports listed in there database hence  think I need to get it approved from LR. 

Kind of strange, I thought they allowed that. There are plenty of airports not in their internal database being uploaded

The mesh is not correct , how can a heli land on a sloped helipad. damn. 

 

I have emailed LR to help me here hope they do respond.
