  • One thing you have to get used to when doing (small) airports is that it SEEMS like no-one cares. You will not get any feedback and nobody will want to test or look at an airport you made. I have done

These are very wise words!   While I'm nowhere near 300 airports (I'm at three dozen), I have a goal of ensuring that every strip in my home province of Alberta (Canada) has decent 3D scenery that w

So from now on , one single change click on upload

I think the data is there but wondering why it didn't show up earlier. Got to check properly

It maybe complex but not like MSFS scenery and in the end it's worth every second you have spent.

Yipee it's all there :)

I am sure it really must be rewarding to fly over detailled scenery created by ourselves.

My advice with OSM is to save/upload every few minutes, this way it's easier to manage, revert and most importantly JOSM will crash at some point and you won't end up loosing all of your work

Yep , especially after when there was nothing and now it's magic.

Good advice and I am doing that. Put some more buildings heights.

OSM thing is going slow because of the trees and forest and stuff which I don't understand so it's all coming to trial and error.

Using JOSM on the laptop is crazily slow.

I have added some trees around the airport using WED looks like Bombay trees.

Well OSM trees / forests not happening too confusing , so i guess only buildings for me.

Added a few helipads around the city and one helipad has two of them overlapping each other that is the Governors house right at the south end of the city a lovely place.

I hope LR comes out with some other objects too to make it more interesting like railway stations , swimming pool etc...

I tried to use blender and sketchup but I got blended.

Downloading around 400-500 kms of area from JOSM.

I am only doing it because this is the only sim that gives me the correct geolocated stuff and it's not that tough, just needs 0.1% of your gray matter which I lack.
