These are very wise words!   While I'm nowhere near 300 airports (I'm at three dozen), I have a goal of ensuring that every strip in my home province of Alberta (Canada) has decent 3D scenery that w

seems like a waste of time creating the helipads when you can't take off or land on them.

Hey I don't know yet. I still need to check it. I can only do that once I get home. But the coastline seems OK.

Ok stdby , I can try it right now.

Well if I use the government based .tiff files the whole mesh is BADDDDDDDDD.

The viewfinder .hgt seems ok.

Well the mesh seems ok but there is still an elevation issue.  Like the VABB airport runway has up down slopes. VAJJ seems to be OK. But the Raj Bhavan Helipad still the slope issue.

Tried to get the tiff files from the Indian Government website , but Maharashtra State has still not got the Cartosat 1-R1 data hence I have used .hgt from viewfinderpanorama

Ah! Than that's why all helicopters in that area of India have one of the legs longer than the other!

Well the mesh is good, but I am surprised that the Indian Government website which has the latest 2015 DEM data has spikes all over the mesh , so I used the .hgt from viewfinder.

If I use Cartosat 1-R1 it does not yet have the data for Maharashtra but only up North and down South. So when it is out I guess I could try it.
