  • One thing you have to get used to when doing (small) airports is that it SEEMS like no-one cares. You will not get any feedback and nobody will want to test or look at an airport you made. I have done

These are very wise words!   While I'm nowhere near 300 airports (I'm at three dozen), I have a goal of ensuring that every strip in my home province of Alberta (Canada) has decent 3D scenery that w

This post started out as making an airport for my hometown which does not exists in Xplane.  Though I did make the airport but not complete as yet because I felt the surrounding too odd, so I went and edited the OSM tags for my hometown and it turned out to be a surprise. Thanks to Tony for the help he is providing even after me making him pull his hair out.

Here some shots , NO HDR but Objects / Roads / Traffic / Water are all set to Extreme.

Just took off from VAJJ helipad heading south towards the Sea Link.

You will see Haji Ali area then head towards the Queens Necklace.

Other data which is North of the aerodrome has Madh island and it looks very nice, not added that shot , more editing to be done in OSM

As I am doing OSM stuff too , there are two lakes up north of the airports which have crocodiles and I really want to display them , but does not look possible with OSM. I have a crocodile object and would be great if someone could help here.

Can I use WED and add an exclusion zone and then add the crocodile object ? I already have one exclusion zone on the airport.

Some more editing in OSM.   The landuse area where there is wood is looking good but the trees IMO are probably not what we have here in India but I don't know still looking for info on that.
