it was the ticket 08B-1E1EC17D-043F.

Looks like Ryan went back and forth with you on this one for quite a bit. However, we do not have the time available to keep everyone updated individually on the progress of potential bugs. It's saved in the queue for reference the next time we look at the 777.

  • Hi Dan, I appreciate your a beta tester, but I don't think this comment was very helpful. James had spotted a bug, wasn't sure and asked if this was correct behaviour, and your answer seems to imply t

Thanks Rich for the detailed explanation.

However, do you consider the behavior of the aircraft in the previous images (and video) to be realistic? Would the real aircraft do that?

For the record, I did submit a ticket and I did get a very good response by Ryan. He said they would look into it for fixing it for the next update.

Jamie,

I have never seen the Collins ProLine 4 or ProLine 21 draw a circular holding pattern.  Further, I have never heard of circular holding pattern being depicted.  I would consider that atypical.

I Have this problem too, i googled to see if it was my procedure, and it send me to this page. glad to see its not just me, and that its relevant now too, and not 2011...

Tho reading above i did recreate a new hold without telling it how big to be ( my fake world SOP usually calls for 5 or 10 miles) and its drawn what i would have expcted and not a perfect circle!

thanks for the informative posts too, I never realised there was so much thought going into a holding pattern.
