For those that have a blurry ground texture problem...are you running a custom LOD?

LP...Logical Processor...it is not a true hardware core, but a memory-map reserve address, logistically actiing as if a real dedicated concrete CPU core.  So, if you have a 4 core CPU, when in Hyperthreading Mode, you would see 8 cores active....the four real, and the four logistical by core partition.

You did not answer the question on How do you asign the LP to a specific application.

  • A first ever!  Hope you continue to get crystal clear scenery.

  • When high LOD is used, or intense scenery, there's a case for increasing FFTF, maybe try 0.4. Use of FFTF below 0.3 reduces the usefulness of a fourth sim job. The AMs 116 (three cores) and 85 (four c

  • FFTF works all the time, it is a ratio of background to foreground processing.   There's very little difference going from four cores AM=85 to three cores AM=116. If you have a maxed core it cannot

By the way, all processors are Logical Processors, in HT mode or not. It's just that two LPs are emulated in HT mode. It is not correct to refer to these as one real and one logical, they are both one and the same real core.

Use a .bat file to launch addon exes with affinity: Start an app with Affinity batch file (.bat)

To be fair, he does say it was the same run whereby he usually get's blurry terrain.

Steve
With asn can i use one LP 0.

And have all other addons on 1 and 7

Or shall I just use 0 and 1

Thanks.

Just use 0, and 1 keeping in mind you corralled all your addons onto one core, that's OK but you can utilise LP7 at a pinch.
