April 15, 201610 yr I got the CS757 version some time ago and tried to fly it. The flight dynamics seem wrong, but the FMC bugs were the killer for me. Not being used anymore. Waiting for someone to produce a good model. R Goodson
April 15, 201610 yr I used to have the Capt Sim 757 (boxed version) and for some reason, they do not seem to provide support for bugs in the boxed version (Just Flight publisher). When I updated my computer a couple of years ago, I installed CS from the box and it came with the incessant rolling bug (which had a patch when I installed it the first time around). CS does not provide support for the boxed version any more, so I went with QW 757, which is fine for an older simulation, but neither CS or QW have the level of detail found with more current add on aircraft. That said, either will run well in FSX. CS seems to have more eye candy and a little bit better pop up interface for the panels. April 16, 201610 yr My vote is for the QualityWings 757. I purchased it fairly recently and I love it. I don't like that everything is very simplified, but, it still has enough functionality to make up for it. It is by no means a PMDG-level simulation though(and of course I knew that purchasing it). It is an absolute dream to fly though. The included engine sounds are also fantastic. It is probably my favorite aircraft to hand fly. I typically hand fly it to cruise. I used to own(and still do, I guess) the CS 757, way back when I used FSX boxed. Before purchasing the QW 757, I tried installing it to FSX Steam (it's the boxed CS 757). It worked, except I could not see out the windshield. This is a known issue but the links to the file for the fix are dead. I did fly it a bit from the external view before uninstalling. From what I remember, the sound set is not nearly as good, and it is not as nice to fly. It is by no means a bad product, but I think the QW 757 beats it.
April 16, 201610 yr I have them both, and neither have been installed in my sim for years. I wouldn't waste money on either. Maybe consider X-Plane 10 and the FlightFactor 757. It's not perfect, but it's still probably the best 757 out there for any sim at the moment.
