First, my sincere apologies to the originator for appearing to hijack this thread. Hopefully those wading through these exchanges will understand why this has happened. I won't prolong this unnecessarily as it would appear that I may be on a hiding to nothing anyway.

 

I'm afraid you are wrong to assume that the product under discussion is 'obviously a favourite' of mine. I use it and there are features which I like and currently employ in the sim, but that is not to say that there might be something better out there and could become my preferred choice in the future. As to suggesting I might be a tad sensitive about a product I like, I would say again that my reaction was encouraged more by Allen's particular use of semantics and in the interests of fair play.
