May 2, 201610 yr Hi...I am trying to turn off the smoke system in FSX. I press "I" but it doesn't go off, the option remains "ticked" in the menu. Any ideas ? It is one ofmthe options in the drop down menu. I thought it might be smoke and tried to switch it off, but couldn't. The real issue is I get black cntrails while cruising... don't know how to fix it. I also realised when I am cruising that I can't turn off smoke in the FSX menu bar drop down. Instead if anyway to know which effect file is corrupted, could just only replace that. Don't want it messing up my setup back to original state, since I have addons etc... maybe a bit too paranoid.
