May 28, 201610 yr So, here I was tooling around Key West and some other keys, in a low level flight...perhaps about 1,800 feet, when I saw something way out in the distance, quite a few thousand feet above me. "What the heck?!?!?!?" ....so, I started an almost 'stall speed' climb to get the amphib up there to check the UFO, out... I just 'bout fell out of my chair... A Blimp! I have never seen a blimp with A.I. Never... Here it is...:

May 29, 201610 yr Nice pic, Mitch... here is what you spotted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tethered_Aerostat_Radar_System It's been in Flight sim since at least FSX, possibly longer. Pull up the skyvector.com chart for KEYW and you will see the warning CAUTION: UNMARKED BALLOON ON CABLE TO 14000 MSL Quote

Mitch The blimp is part of the Key West scenery and has nothing to do with P3D as it's in the FSX version of the same scenery. I was surprised when I spotted it a few years ago as well.
