RSR is indeed typed on the -400.  As far as Beta Testing, the last I had heard, the Tech and Beta teams were full.  PMDG usually has no dearth of applicants, most with considerable time in type, so I wouldn't feel too badly.  If they are looking for something specific, they will reach out.

 

Thanks for confirming....I would assume that he is no longer current as he is not flying as a line pilot these days.

When we need people for the Tech Team, we generally solicit this on the forum, but we do require that people send us actual, verified flight time on the aircraft (and yes, we check it). The Beta Team, on the other hand, is by direct invite only.

While I'm sure that the thought "the more the merrier" may appear logical, it's not necessarily the case. Having too many people on a tech or beta team can turn into a disaster, so we play these things pretty close to the chest. I know that's probably not the answer people want to hear, but it's the truth. We appreciate the offer for help, however!
