Appologies if this topic has been answered already, but: will the 747v2 have any kind of improved or existing support for touch tablets being used to perform such functions as the FMC? this being able to be on a dedicated, touch capable device, would be a very nice capability. regards, peter belbin.

Hi, Just a tip for anyone struggling with the new Prepar3dv4 compatible 747 QOTS II installer seeming to just shutdown with no error and then the installation exe disappearing, for me it was actually Avast, and disabling all shields for 10 minutes let the installer complete successfully. I realise the fleet Captain probably said very clearly to disable anti-virus when installing, but it didn't stop me not following instructions, so maybe this will help someone equally nonobservant :D -
I understand that PMDG will not model the EFB in the 777 and 747-8. Instead of leaving the EFB place vacant in the 747-8, PMDG can at least use the EFB as a graphical load manager and fuel manager with diagrams that show seating chart, fuel load distribution etc.. This looks visually better than loading fuel and passengers thru FMC. I'm just comparing with what i've seen in X-plane aircraft like SSG 747-8. Also, in SSG 747-8, when you zoom in all the way on the ND, you can see the airport layout.. will this feature be available in PMDG 747-8 v2? Vinod Kumar.
