Recommendations on scenery load order?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Recently installed FreeMeshX and realised, the scenery list was getting quite long. I'm not entire sure what the 'optimal' load order would be for many of these things. Could anyone do me a favour and take a quick gander at this list, which is only the 'top' part, see if there's something I need to move up or down? Does FreeMeshX have to be under ALL the OrbX stuff?

Thanks.

I recommend it.

I am intrigued now Daniel ....  I have always placed your mesh above everything else in order to allow the sim to load the preferred mesh (as opposed to the lower default mesh in Orbx). Is that unnecessary?

Is that unnecessary?

No, according to developers, mesh will be loaded by the highest resolution despite where it is placed in the scenery library. Some mesh products don't even require library placements at all and will overide any other mesh that is lower resolution by default.
