Hi all.

Today i finally took the dive and bought flight school (a small dive ill admit)

Anyway I'm both impressed and disappointed. The scenery is brilliant, i was surprised to see objects such a power stations etc.

 

However i find myself extremely frustrated. I have a half decent graphics card. AMD R9 370. I run Prepar3d v3 on my system with high end addons and do just fine. 

I've found that when i set radeon settings to 4 x super sampling as i would with prepar3d or fsx steam, I end up with extremely low fps. Around 12fps in some lessons.  With multi sampling the AA is absolutely awful. I've tried many different combinations with no luck

I would appreciate it if anyone can offer some advice, otherwise ill be requesting a refund from steam.

Got my refund. I was under no impression this was going to be a new flight sim however i'm rather disappointed by performance. Lets hope for much better by the end of the year. 

The sky looks just awful too, that horrid brown haze that shrouds everything further than about 20nm away.

True,

i would understand if the graphics were great that the performance is bad.

But bad graphic with bad performance is unusal.

You would think, that because every one of your last 58 posts on Avsim have all been bashing flight school, you would have lost interest and moved on already. Do you even fly a sim? If so, why dont you post in those forums? Instead you continue with your incessant bashing. Is there any particular reason or are you just trolling?

I'm all in for different opinions but some people are taking this to the limit . If you don't like it why are you here?????

Then get your refund through Steam and go back to flying something else.
