Okay okay  despite the fact that I have been flying on FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 for 9 years,  I do not know anything about FSX Steam.

If I buy FSX Steam,  can I install OVER FSX Deluxe? Or is it totally SEPARATE product meaning I have to reinstall all payware and freeware add-on planes and airport sceneries???

Speaking of FSX payware and freeware add-on sceneries/aircrafts, will they work for FSX Stream?

Sorry for stupid question.

It's a completely seperate product so you will need to install your addons again, to ensure everything points in the right direction. However, theoretically, there's no reason you can't have both versions installed, but some addons will only allow you to point to 1 version or the other.

As for the addons themselves, most seem to work fine on FSX:SE. I know all mine do, without any issues. However, I've seen reports of some not working.

Best regards,

Neal McCullough

To the best of my knowlege, only 2 add-ons are not compatabile: Flight1 SoundStream and FSRecorder.

Thanks all for explanations. I will avoid FSX Stream.
