FSPassengers

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there is anything different about this version, other than being able to work with SE?  I used this for a long time but finally quit just because I got bored with the same voices and recorded boarding sounds and wanted something different.  Wondering if they have any new voices or features.  I noticed it is free to current users, so thinking there may be nothing really new.  Thanks.

I'd be curious to know this as well. More variety in voices and words spoken is definitely needed.

List of 2015 improvements would be appreciated.

With the developers history, I'm guessing nothing has changed at all hardly and it's just a FSX SE/P3D money grab.

IIRC, there's a voice pack option before you start your flight in the options menu. I think there's somthing like 4-5 different English voice packs and a few in other languages.

Also, I found on their website, under More Downloads,  that there are additional user created voice packs.

Does it matter anymore, Bumpy? There are simply better programs available now. For example, FSCapt and AH2 are two products I'd recommend over FSCapatain; the latter is early access but already far superior to FSPassenger. Both these products have more features; more importantly, support is amazing and updates occur regulary. To answer your question, the only difference is the FSPax 2015 comes with the SP, and, as you mentioned, is Steam compatiable. Othwerise, there's no diffenece...

To answer your original post VeryBumpy, yes FSPassengers has had improvements made to it over the old depreciated version. You can go to their website and look at exactly what has changed (including more voice packs!).

I use AH2 AND FSPassengers in my virtual sim world.

Why? Not trying to be obtuse...just generally curious. What does FSPAX have that AH2 doesn't...besides the voice paxs? Also, as stated, the OP can dowload the SP to his orginal FSPax; to that point, there's no diffence.
