Hi,The patch (or better the full version) was released yesterday.I installed it already. However this is for LAGO customers.Sim Market also sold the MD80 and for those customers the patch/full version is released later this week.Bottom line:If you have bought the MD80 at LAGO you can install the V1.50 full version. If you have bought the MD at sim Market, you have to wait a few days more.

I should have stuck with version 1.42 I uninstalled the maddog and did an install of 1.5 and now I get a CTD on take off as soon as the wheels have left the ground. The error I get is with "maddog.gau". I can sit at the gate all day or taxi around but as soon as I try to fly this thing..black screen and then flightsim shuts down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times with the same results. Any Ideas? I left a trouble ticket on the lago website but I still have 2 unanswered trouble tickets there from a year ago so I'm not going to hold my breath waiting on them to help me.Will

Are you using an FSbuild created FP? The only time I saw a crash was when I was using an FSbuild created plan. If that is the case I would try to input the FP manually, because I only had one crash and it was the imported plan. Not blaming FSbuild, There is little or no support from Lago

I input the flight plan manually from scratch. Maybe I'll try from another airport but I'm guessing the results will be the same. Thanks for the suggestion. Will

Also if your using the MD SID/STARS (really the PMDG one's) make sure you run the clean up program, and check the change WP names option I belive...

The "maddog.gau" problem is an OLD problem that Lago can't seem to get their heads around and fix. There IS a fix for this, which I think you might be able to find by looking at early posts on their forum, just when the MD 80 was released. ricardo

Thanks Dennis and Ricardo I'll give that a try. as an update I did try another departure airport..and actually got off the ground.

I actually just deleted the plane, and reinstalled the 1.50 full install, everything installed just fine, I added some Navdata and ran the cleanup, then I ran the setup utility, and then I flew the plane without any issues. I really like this plane and the new 1.50 version really brings this aircraft up to today's payware standards. I think it would be a must have for any Mad Dog fans. I'd give it a 3 1/2 to 4 stars on the Avsim rating scale.Jeff

Has Lago now fixed the problem of not being able to load an FS9 airplane into the FMC?ricardo

>"not being able to load an FS9 airplane into the FMC?"I wish I could answer your question, but I'm not sure what you're asking, if you can maybe phrase it differently, I will try to help you.Jeff

Sorry, intermittent brain shutdown. Of course, I meant: can/how do you load an FS9 generated flightplan into Lago's fmc?ricardo

Ricardo,I just loaded the plane to mess around with the FMC, and couldn't find an option that would allow me to load any kind of flight plan let alone an FS9 fp. So at this point I'd have to say no, but I guess I better read the manual, maybe there is some hidden function that I don't know about yet.Jeff

You can load an FS9 flightplan by opening the load manager. There is a tab for Fuel/Route planner. Click load and select your FS9 flightplan. Then click save to save it in Maddog FMC format. Then open your FMC and load the saved route from there

Is there any conclusion about 1.5 already? Are the Autopilot issues (e.g. the VNAV problems) sorted out now ? All OK now or new/other issues appeared ?Mike

Can someone do an updated Delta livery for the VC version of the Maddog??? :-(
