Just noticed it today, well done!  Hopefully it didn't cost too much to get the paperwork filed.  Will this have any effect on the AVSIM.xx domain?

    We have always had a copyright policy.  I doubt it will stop any of the illegal wannabe websites that try to steal our domain.  We have been working hard to protect the information on our website as well as in our Library.  Thanks Rob for your comments!

    I did not see the © contained within the AVSIM logo in the top left corner of the forum before today.  I am just thinking that the Registered ® or Trade Mark ™ symbols cost lots and lots of $$$$.  You are right Jim, there will always be those types that steal ones information and use it to their advantage.

    The fee for registering a Copyright is $35 USD.

    The cost of adding the © symbol is $0 USD.  :LMAO:

    $0 is good enough for me! I thought it would cost more than that given how much lawyer fees are. Then again you can do just about anything online these days.
