October 29, 200520 yr So there is a 777LR model available from Boeing/Microsoft somewhere? Can anyone find out where to download it and if it has a VC? That would be very interesting!
October 29, 200520 yr I am getting the impression it will be avalable next week.Maybe I am wrong though. Andrew
October 29, 200520 yr the link from the avsim front pagehttp://fsinsider.com/articles/FSBoeing777-200LRChallenge.htm
October 29, 200520 yr Aaaaha. Okee. See I almost never look at AVSIMs front page. Always come directly to th forums and library.Lots of info on what to do -- just no info on the planned download of the model. Hope it has a VC :-)
October 30, 200520 yr I am thinking it's going to be the 777-300 with a greater range. I cant imagine it will be too complex. Andrew
October 30, 200520 yr Aye I do not expect it to be complex either - -but it will still be enjoyable to see. I am definately going to keep track of this and participate.
October 30, 200520 yr I sure hope it will be better built than the default 777-300. Updated visual model and VC would really be nice for a change coming from Microsoft (especially for something like this that I'm sure Boeing knows about)... October 30, 200520 yr I suspect that this has something to do with the next version of FSim. MS has never to my knowledge done anything like this before and there has been no explanation as to why they are doing it. Maybe we might be in for a big shock in some way. It will be interesting to see where this goes.Barry
October 30, 200520 yr Oh yeah, I definately have a "Christmas morning" feeling thinking about this. It is definately going to be interesting.-Jeremy BurchThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!Pilot-Dead bugs on the windshield.Mechanic-Live bugs on back-order.
October 30, 200520 yr On the site is says:We will provide the following tools to help you through the event.A modified Boeing 777 for FS2004 with official Boeing Flight Test livery and a -200LR Worldliner flight model. I am guessing this will be the -300 with a new paintjob slapped on and a different FDE? Brent Lewis
October 30, 200520 yr Author thanks M$, but i think id rather use the eagarly anticipated 777 by Phoenix. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
