August 12, 20169 yr Nice Rob! Are you using any 3rd party Mesh in that video? ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU
August 12, 20169 yr Yes, PILOT's Mesh FTX Edition. Cranked up the setting even more in this video, added Dynamic Reflections ... weather is AS16 + ASCA (2048 texture for clouds), Sky textures are REX. It seems HiFi have solved the "Tall/thin" clouds issue (or at least compensated for it) when one flies close to the poles. Cheers, Rob.
August 12, 20169 yr Rob, did you not have the sloped runway activated or why does it look so flat? I thought ENNK was supposed to feature a sloped runway, see my post here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/493340-orbx-ennk-narvik-where-is-the-sloped-runway/
August 13, 20169 yr did you not have the sloped runway activated or why does it look so flat? As far as I know that is not an option, it's not present in the Configure screen. Every other option is checked/set to max detail including all the ones that say "Severe FPS Loss". I know it can be done (I've seen it done in other products) - Courchevel and I think in one of the FSDT/FB airports (I think). Cheers, Rob.
August 13, 20169 yr 'Another gem' video, Rob! I don't run Orbx regions myself but I admit they do usually look nice in your video tours. Cheers, Kevin Kevin S
