Stuttering/freezing, could use some assistance.....

Featured Replies

James, here is something to keep in mind, that if you use ASN 2016 or any version that the sim will pause or stutter for a few seconds while ASN updates.

I don't think there is anything you can do about that, It also happens to me.

I am using AS16+ASCA and have never seen this.

Dan I would say consider yourself lucky, I have been using ASN since the beginning( was a beta tester for 10 years) and I do see the sim pause for a few sec when it updates weather. I believe this

has been spoken about on the Hi Fi forums.

Only on a system with much stuff running on core 0. By itself, there is no stutter caused by AS16/ASN. I have my systems set to update every 5 minutes and I never see a stutter. If you have a stutter everytime ASN or AS16 updates, you have a problem with your system setup. Occasionally, if the update occurs when everything else is updating, or if something else occurs while ASN is updating, you may but it is an exception, not the rule.

Same issue for me when using VFR Airfields Vol2 and ORBX Global, VECTOR and Europe LC.

I started a post on the UK2000 forums back in May 2016. It's still unresolved.

Testing has proved it is not a hardware resource issue, in fact the PC idles down while it freezes.

Would love to know how to resolve the issue with disabling one product or the other.

Cris.
