Just downloaded and installed version 2.0.1.8

 

Install seemed to go normally. However when starting P2A I get to "Loading Pilot2ATC Main Screen - Please Wait" . . .

 

Still Waiting

 

Any suggestions?

Not sure.It loads fine here.

I got the same message but it loaded pretty fast.

That second load screen was added because it was taking 20 or so seconds after the Data Load screen disappeared for the Main screen to appear, so users were thinking the program had died.

 

It's possible you are having a Windows issue where the main screen opens minimized or on a screen that is not visible.  Ive had this happen with Word and Excel as well as with P2A.  Check to see if the Pilot2ATC icon is on the task bar.  If so do the following:

 

1) Right click on an empty portion of the Task Bar

2) Select "Show Windows Stacked"

3) Find Pilot2ATC and resize/move it to where you want

 

It should then start behaving normally.

The problem was the Windows hidden window trick.  It appears to be OK now.
