No voice recognition since P3D update

Featured Replies

Hi,

Upgraded to the new P3D today for both FS2crew 737 and 777. I have all of the sudden lost voice recognition for both software. Is there going to be an update to fix this problem? I havent changed a thing and ensured that all settings are to my headphone. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the 777 one with no luck.

Cheers

Does the Voice Button stay on?

If yes, it means the speech recongition system loaded fine, and you have some other problem, perhaps with your headset.  Try changing ports.

Also check the Logs in the Config Manager and the trouble shooting section in the Manuals.

If the Voice button refuses to stay on, it means you have a larger problem on your computer.

Did you ever run System Mechanic by chance?

Double check your speech recongizer is set to ENGLISH US as per the manual (that's the problem 99 percent of the time).

Maybe settings or key bindings were lost during the upgrade?
