October 4, 20169 yr Having a bear of a time getting my PMDG acft into FS:SE. A forum suggested re-downloading (my original purchase was in 2013 but I paid for an extended download) because the OC may have changed. Tried to download and I get "PMDG_737_8900_NGX.ZIP.part" which won't unzip. Tried downloading several times with the same result. It would also be appreciated if someone could provide a tutorial on how to get PMDG acft installed on FSX:SE. Forum has always been helpful. October 4, 20169 yr Tried to download and I get "PMDG_737_8900_NGX.ZIP.part"It looks like you are only getting a partial download. I would submit a ticket to PMDG technical support at - http://support.precisionmanuals.com. Michael Cubine
October 4, 20169 yr Commercial Member Tried to download and I get "PMDG_737_8900_NGX.ZIP.part" which won't unzip. Tried downloading several times with the same result. Try a different browser. Otherwise, you may want to use a download manager. I use Free Download Manager. Sounds stupid, but it's actually helpful for large downloads. It would also be appreciated if someone could provide a tutorial on how to get PMDG acft installed on FSX:SE. Right click the installer. Select Run as Administrator. Click Next until the only option is to click Finish. Done. Kyle Rodgers
October 4, 20169 yr As often as I'm downloading large files for this hobby, I found the small cost of IDM Internet Download Manager to be very worthwhile. Downloads are actually quicker and it does an excellent job of restarting interrupted downloads, among many other features, and they keep it up to date via semi-automatic updates. In addition to steps by Kyle, i recommend you look at any README files included in the installler. Dan Downs KCRP
October 4, 20169 yr Author PROBLEM SOLVED... Needed to re-download NGX and select the correct simulator... then the OC allowed me to choose steam. Working fine. Thanks all. J
