How many add on aircraft do you have?

Featured Replies

After noticing my amount of add on airplanes really piling up I thought I should ask other simmers how many add on planes they have or what kinds they are. I have the PMDG 737 NGX, 777LR/F and 777-300ER, A2A C172, PMDG MD11, CS 707. Which ones do you guys have?

115 to be exact!  You name it.....I probably have it.  Not really into the WWI aircraft but a lot of WWII and newer.  All

freeware.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Too many, and I probably should have deleted most of them. They're in my "old addons" folder for now...

If I check my logbook I've mostly flown the Milviz B55 Baron, RealAir Turbine Duke v2, Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, Milviz Boeing 737-200C and Manfred Jahn's C-47 Skytrain/Dakota this year.

I was thinking about getting the PMDG 737 or 777 for P3D, but I'm waiting for a 64 bit version as I don't want to join the OOM club.

The reality is, after P3D became available I've bought only a few aircraft addons. Most developers have been very slow at updating their installers to the new versions of P3D, and I've just had to leave them behind.

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

Reduced mine down to just those in my signature. And I ban myself from buying any others unless they are equal to or better in terms of systems depth (the publisher being a key part of that subjective decision!)

Means I now don't spend time deciding what to fly or doing silly little flights in them. I have time to really learn each of them in depth with the help of real world manuals. Much more fulfiling.

To be honest, I still have too many. I just Love the Q400 and 777.... And I cant wait to learn the FSLabs bus as something completely new. May well end up retiring the NGX if it's as good as I hope.

All are really good, except I'm not in love with the CLS MD-80.  Kind of light on systems and buggy, and it doesn't handle real well.
