xENVIRO 1.05

Recommended Posts

A followup of the xENVIRO weather engine. I had just uploaded a vide of v1.04, when v1.05 came out. So here it is,

X-Plane 11 in the Carenado B200 King Air. Flying north of Vancouver, Canada, over the Rockies.

Nice looking but all rotating clouds (thats the price for the "classic" billboard approach ... which brings its own pros and cons as we can see)

Volumetric clouds are on the roadmap for ver. 1.2.

No rotating clouds here. Just finished a flight with xEnviro 1.05. But maybe I'm blind. Or I don't see them because I stay in the VC most of the time. I think all those complains about 2D clouds are completely overrated. Even with 2D clouds it looks ten times better than all other cloud add-ons for XP.
