Taxi2gate Munich winter textures

Featured Replies

Thanks guys it is solved!.

Here is what I did:

- I made a reinstall again, but this time I completely deleted all previious Munich files beforehand.

- Then I applied the update 1.2. (from the T2G webpage).

- In the T2G-EDDM P3Dv3/data folder there already are winter pack textures. From those I only copied the 4 dds files to the EDDM/Texture folder and replaced the previous.

(Not using the seasonal texture pack files from T2G webpage)

Yey, Munich in winter!

I followed your steps exactly and yet I still have the black squares. I am re-downloading everything and will give it one last shot. This is really starting to stress me out.

Did you figure it out? The above is what worked for me. I am referring to the T2G-EDDM P3Dv3 folder that was installed into your Prepar3D v3/SimMarket folder.

I know, it is sooooo annoying. Especially at this price! And till today not a reply to my email from support.

Nice Video (and setup you have) Gerard. - How about the apron textures, is everybody happy with them?

I think can I see in Gerard's video (when he completes the turn from the taxiway to the apron) these marks on the apron (red rounded squares with two black dots inside) that should look like the fueling connectors - in real life (and the real EDDM) only to be found at the gates and the stands. I have them everywhere on the aprons especially in between the two main terminals. I have seen this as well on others' screenshots (e.g. here http://forum.iflysimx.com/topic/1301-eddm-improvements-for-general-update/?page=2 - 2nd post on this page, 2nd picture).

I have the impression not many people would be annoyed by this; am I really the only one? IMO it really spoils the immersion of an otherwise well made add-on.

I have already sent a support request to taxi2gate via their official support mail about three weeks ago, but they never took the effort to reply.

Best Regards

Because of the EULA I can't tell inside info, but in general :

- Live traffic

- Ramdomely parked aircraft

- Via a tool airports ( read : AFCAD  files ) can be read because of the parked aircraft

- AI traffic in Fs set to 0

This works well with accurate placed airports as the moving aircraft do this independently from Fs. They use real world GPS data ( like FlightRadar 24 ) .

I had set it to 100 parked  for EHAM ( + live aircraft ) and my framerate loss was max 2 fps...

Sounds very good. Thanks for the information.
