This sounds really interesting. I probably would have the time to do this if I could understand the scheduling. Pretty sure I have all the prerequisites in place...reply if interested in bringing a newbie in. If I'm too late on the ball, I understand, but would be interested in knowing more for getting involved next year.

It takes a significant effort for participating pilots to get ready for the race.   There is less than 2 weeks remaining before the commencement of the race which may not be sufficient for a new pilot to get ready.  Because of that,  I am going to close the recruiting thread for new participant signup.
